If I had the bucks, I wouldn't mind getting it. It sort of matches my old 512Ke and would look nice in my Mac museum.

Pretty much not worth the plastic it was molded out of... 'cept to me, as a collectors' piece. I get a kick from fact that it still works!

Speaking of "Collector's Items...
while checking on their take on the election results, I ran across carp's thread about the Steve Jobs Action Figure I agree with the feeling that it was kinda' 'Tacky" when I came across the afore said Action Figure in E-Bay ...even though it was offered by The Original Artist who specializes in Celebrity Action Figures. Although the likeness is remarkable, it's still a little creepy (...and a little too soon...) But if anyone wishes to order one as a future investment I'm sure an original casting, by the original artist will undoubtedly be worth quite a bit sooner or later. As for myself: I bought 3 articles, during the first week, whilst the pain of loss was still so acute that I needed SOMETHING to hang onto; ![]() A mature yet handsome Steve Jobs Silicon Skin for my iPhone An uncirculated issue of the Commemorative TIME Magazine from when steve was dashingly handsome that's framed and staring out at me from my desk... and THIS which I mounted on a rosewood pedestal above my beloved G4, it's a beautifully executed paper-weight-sized LAZAR Cut 3D crystal representation. . I wrote to the guy and he claims that the last "buyer" reneged on the deal then went missing. ![]() I didn't dig mine out but having checked the MacTracker App. just looking at the software I can see that even though mine was also issued in 1984, it was the second (educational) edition Model #2 Sept 1984 (Fat Mac) because it still runs on OS 6.2 .
