i call the one guy in town who i think "may be" half worth doing business with -- everything down in naples FL is totally half ass "good enough".

i ask him if he has 12AX7 tube, sure he says. so i go get it. now, yeah, i should have maybe looked at it... i get home and neither the box or the tube has ANY markings on it! i have never seen this.

i go online and the same manufacturer has pics -- all with markings. now i have to call and go back and try to exchange? what load of shit.

i just don't get these know-it-all asshats who believe theor knowledge is "good enough."
NOT FOR FUCKING ME IT ISN'T! geez.
i should have known to even TRY to buy anything from locally. i'm not even going to fuck with it, there goes $15. out the window. i already ordered one online.
