The Official Funny/Amazing/Inspiring Video Thread

RE: The Official Funny/Amazing/Inspiring Video Thread
Learned to skate late in life at 17. Was stuck in goal on the frozen cranberry bogs at 2 in the morning with car headlights for lights. Eventually got good enough to play a little forward. Then had to relearn skating without a stick. It is physically the most draining sport playing drunk on the bogs with no one on the bench and all you need is two or three Bobby Orr wannabees out there.

Nothing will make you bleed more than a frozen puck.

The Hoax of a Hoax

Praan (LIFE)

Praan (LIFE)

The lyrics are based off a poem.
From Gitanjali by Rabindranath Tagore
(sung by Palbasha Siddique).

Stream of Life

The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day
runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures.

It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth
in numberless blades of grass
and breaks into tumultuous waves of leaves and flowers.

It is the same life that is rocked in the ocean-cradle of birth
and of death, in ebb and in flow.

I feel my limbs are made glorious by the touch of this world of life.
And my pride is from the life-throb of ages dancing in my blood this moment.

'nother one of those long involved stories, so please bare with me...
(I've always been a sucker for a good story)

It started with Michael's image of Bougainvilla Blossoms...
...and ended with me in tears.

The image brought to mind a live version of an Eric Bogle song
which (as stated) turned out to be a cover of a Stan Rogers Ballad
that led to a video of his life ...and death and his memorable Music.

Phos read a comment where the writer thought Palin sounded drunk, so snagged the video and did a slo-mo on it. Pretty funny. Credits to Phos Fourdots / PhosforDigital and Think Progress.
