And we're still not secure. Buy more crap!
I don't know why we need to have troops all over Europe other than to keep the unemployment rate lower than it would otherwise be.

It insane for so many other reasons but you are probably right that it is a way to keep unemployment down. 1.5 million active personnel not even counting the 1.5 million in the reserves would be quite a shock to our economy. Especially since their training is not exactly a hot commodity. So instead of voting for unemployment payments Republicans help out the downtrodden by keeping them employed in such a fruitful way. Guarding an airstrip in Germany or dying in Iraq. (07-23-2010 04:57 AM)polymerase Wrote:(07-22-2010 07:17 PM)yoyo52 Wrote: And we're still not secure. Buy more crap! |

RE: Wow, this is insane
Wotz bin pissin' ME off
is that pinheads still don't get that the military expenditures are the same under both administrations even though they SEEM Twice as High under Obama BECAUSE HE DECIDED TO MAKE AN HONEST ACCOUNTING ..rather than Cook the Books (hiding the actual cost by Tagging It Onto SUPPLEMENTAL SPENDING for the entire following year.) Same as it's been pissing me off that Obama's Assessment of "BLAME & RESPONSIBILITY" (which I find refreshing after GWDouche's "Wot Me Worry" lack thereof.) What burns my bunz is people buying into FOXIFACATION! People! Wake The Fuk Up! "I Take Full Responsibility" ≠ "IT'S ALL MY FAULT!" ![]() btw that mini rant was not aimed @ any of the responders nor did it address the Cost of Military Expenditures... ..it was merely something that's been chafing my butt for quite some time that finally bubbled to the top. ![]() ..but while I'm at it: I'm so sick of listening to MSNBC's constant drum beat of repeating "OBAMA'S Drop In APPROVAL Ratings" ![]() just to suit THEIR Agenda of Filling Up the DEAD AIR Between Election Cycles that I've come to detest them ALMOST as much as FOX NEWS.Surely they "GET" that most people Tend To "GO ALONG" IOW if an Ever Increasing Number of People "Disapprove", they begin to feel Out-Of-Place If They Don't Follow Suit! For anyone following along.. it's my olde familiar rant about "DON'T PARROT** THEIR TALKING POINTS!!!" ![]() **PERPETUATE ..that is all..
. "...or am I a butterfly dreaming she's a woman?" . |
